Bruce Li is born in a small city in China. The beautiful scenery of that area planted the seed of his appreciation of nature and water in particular, which he believes to be the spirit of landscape. When studying Engineering in university, he found he cannot even be a OK amateur painter, so he started taking pictures instead. His main interest is landscape and people performing. Here is some of his black and white photos taken down in the Australian Blue Mountain valley area, attending the 1999 Monoscope workshop tutored by Rob Gray.
